Bestimate (Breakaway’s ‘best estimate’ solar valuation calculator)

We have worked our share of Excel over the years and, one day, decided to create a software version of one of our finance models. Through a partnership with Warren and Selbert, the renowned creators of ABC software, we developed a valuation calculator that looks at pre-tax cash and the federal investment tax credit for solar. We then added assumptions based on our real-life market experience to provide a range of what we think projects are worth.
